Chinese New Year is approaching
Chinese New Year will be celebrated on 25th of January next year when the year of the rat starts.
The celebrations last for 15 days so it’s a good idea to take into consideration when booking shipments to and from Asia.
Sea freight between Asia and Finland takes approximately two months so bookings for shipments for the beginning of the year should be done as soon as possible.
The celebrations will significantly delay shipments while offices and harbours remain mainly closed for the holiday.
In urgent cases, we can also offer air freight and rail freight to and from Asia although due to holidays space is limited so bookings should be done as soon as possible.
